Tips and best practices

Recommendations for getting the most from VIOOH Trading Manager.

Keep your Asset Health dashboard clear: missing parameters prevent frames being evaluated and traded by DSPs. Clearing the dashboard means all of your eligible inventory is visible and trading-ready.

Tag product categories accurately: you can select any Product Category regardless of the Advertiser and Brand, but accurate tagging ensures creative prohibitions are correctly applied and the right frames are linked to the right creatives.

Use campaign duplication for multiple DSPs: you can only assign one DSP per campaign, so duplicating a campaign is the quickest way to set up the same activity for several DSPs.

Share the blue ID with your DSP: the ID shown in blue is the level at which trading takes place. Sharing the grey one will prevent the deal trading.

Use high-level taxonomy for Always On campaigns: apply 'default' values at campaign level and the Advertiser and Brand information at creative level.

Do not set a frame target at the maximum: our allocation engine already maximises the number of frames by default.

Check the allocation before you commit: for Guaranteed deal lines, use the Allocation Report to compare a new proposal against the existing allocation before saving changes.
