Saving, viewing and deleting a creative set

Save and name a creative set, view it later, and delete it when you need to make changes.

When you have assigned your creatives to the Visual Unit, save the set. A saved creative set cannot be edited, so check your creatives before you save.

Saving a creative set

  1. Select the 'Save set' button in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
  2. Enter a name for the set in the 'Set Name' field.
  3. Select 'Save'.

The name becomes the Creative Set Code shown in the creative sets table. Creative set names must be unique for the set to save.

If any creative in the set is missing Advertiser or Brand metadata, the set does not save and you see the message: "We have been unable to save your creative set. Please ensure an Advertiser and Brand is added to all creatives before saving a new creative set."

Once saved, the set appears in the list on the 'Creative sets' tab.

Using a creative in more than one set

Creatives can only be used once per creative set per Visual Unit. VIOOH Trading Manager automatically filters out any creatives you try to assign to a new creative set for the same Visual Unit.

Deleting a set releases its creatives, so you can use them in a different set for the same Visual Unit.

Tip: a creative is defined by its Creative ID, which is assigned on upload. To reuse the same advertisement, upload the file again with a unique file name and a unique Creative ID. See Uploading a creative.

Please note: you cannot reuse a Creative ID, even once the creative has been deleted.

Viewing a creative set

On the 'Creative sets' tab, click anywhere on the row of the set, or hover over the row and select the pencil icon.

Please note: once a creative set has been saved, you cannot edit it. To make changes, delete the set and create a new one.

Deleting a creative set

  1. Open the set.
  2. Select the 'Delete' button in the bottom left-hand corner.
  3. A window asks you to confirm: "Are you sure you want to delete? This creative set will be removed from all linked Visual units. Please note that this action could impact live deals."
  4. Select 'Continue' to delete the set, or 'Cancel' to go back.

Important: deleting a creative set removes it from all linked Visual Units, and this could impact live deals.

Deleting creatives used in a set

You cannot delete a creative that is part of a Visual Unit creative set. If you try, a warning notification is displayed. See Deleting and restoring creatives.
