Working with Deal Health charts and tables
Drill down, explore, pivot, sort, change time buckets and view underlying data.
The charts and tables on every Deal Health tab share the same controls. Use them to break data down, change the time period, and see or download the data behind a chart.
Explore
Hover over a chart and select 'Explore' to open an expanded view in a larger window. In Explore mode, you can apply additional filters to that chart.
For example, when you explore 'Today's Revenue', you can apply a Deal Type filter to see data for Non-Guaranteed Floor Price or Non-Guaranteed Fixed Price campaigns only.
When you use 'Explore', agency data (agency_name) is available at campaign level, alongside brand_name and advertiser_name.
Drill down
Some charts, such as 'Revenue by Hour' and 'Loss Reasons', let you break the data down by a different category.
- Hover over the chart, or right-click it, and select 'Drill down'.
- Choose the category you want to break the chart down by, for example 'Deal ID'.
For example, drilling down by 'Deal ID' on the 'Daily Revenue' chart shows which campaigns contributed to each day's revenue.
Tip: drill down is particularly useful for troubleshooting. On the 'Diagnostics' tab, drill down on a loss reason by 'Creative ID' to find the creative affecting trading. See The Diagnostics tab.
Pivot tables
Pivot tables expand horizontally and vertically to give you a granular breakdown of the data.
- Select a column heading to go deeper in time. For example, select July to see a breakdown by day.
- Select a row to drill down into the categories beneath it.
- To change the order the rows and columns expand in, click and drag the tiles at the top of the table.
Sorting a pivot table
- Right-click the column heading you want to sort by.
- Select the order you want from the list, for example "Sort Deal ID - Impression OSI by this column".
For example, sort the 'Pacing' tab by Impression OSI, from high to low, to see which campaigns are on pace.
Changing the time bucket
Use 'Time Bucket' to choose how time-based data is grouped in a chart or table.
- Open the menu on the time axis or the time column, for example 'Start Time Local'.
- Select 'Time Bucket'.
- Select 'Detailed', 'Hourly', 'Day', 'Week', 'Month', 'Quarter' or 'Yearly'.
This lets you compare month-over-month performance, track year-to-date performance, or group data into any interval you need, without exporting and manipulating the raw data.
Removing and reordering columns
You can temporarily remove columns you do not need from a table. Open the column's menu and select 'Remove'.
This applies to tables on the dashboard and in Explore. Removed columns do not appear in downloaded files.
To reorder columns, click and drag the column headings.
Show underlying data
Hover over most charts and widgets to see a button with three dots. Select it, then select 'Show underlying data'.
A window opens with the data in a table.
- Select 'Edit columns' to add or remove data elements. Select 'Done' to apply.
- Select 'Download CSV' to download the table as a CSV file.
