Creating a campaign in the Planner
Set the deal type, complete the mandatory fields and check availability in the map-based Planner.
The Planner is the map-based campaign creator. You can build the same campaigns and deal lines as in the Deal Form, working from a map of your inventory rather than a form.
This article covers the basics of creating a campaign in the Planner. For everything else — targeting with segments, points of interest, index optimisation, bulk frame list handling and the map tools — see the VIOOH Trading Manager Planner User Guide.
Setting the deal type
Use the switch button to set your deal type: 'NG Floor', 'NG Fixed' or 'PG'. By default, deals are set to 'NG Fixed'.
For Non-Guaranteed deals, Fixed or Floor price, Advertiser, Brand and Product Category are optional. Use the 'Skip' button to move straight into the Deal Line details panel, or click directly within the panel. For Programmatic Guaranteed deals these fields remain mandatory.
Completing the mandatory fields
The mandatory fields — 'Schedule', 'Environment' and 'CPM' — are grouped together. A 'Next' button takes you through each field in turn, so none are missed.
Under 'Schedule', 'End of month' and 'End of year' are available as quick-pick end date options.
Checking availability
For Non-Guaranteed deals, select 'Check Availability' to run an availability call.
By default, once you have filled in the mandatory fields, only the total frame number is displayed. To view the number of available impressions, the total cost, or both, select 'Check Availability' on the right-hand Summary Panel.
Summary Panel
The Summary Panel carries the same 'Availability', 'Proposal', 'Allocation' and 'Delivery' cards as the Deal Form. See Summary Panel.
Saving and updating
Campaign and deal line changes are saved from one place. Select 'Update' at the top right, beside the Campaign Status drop-down, to save your campaign and deal lines and to change the campaign status.
Frame limits
Each deal line can contain up to 9,999 unique frames, as in the Deal Form. See Frames.
Reactivating an Ended campaign
You can reactivate an Ended campaign in the Planner by adding a new deal line. This is also available in the Deal Form.
