Submitting a campaign and adding deal lines
Set a campaign status and add further deal lines to a campaign.
Setting a Status
Once you have set up your first deal line, you can set a status for the deal line and campaign.
- In the 'Campaign Info' overlay panel, hover over the 'New' icon and click 'Update status'.
- Depending on your permissions, select either 'Send for Approval' or 'Confirm'.
- Click 'Update Status' to save the status.
Selecting 'Send for Approval' puts the deal line in 'Pending Approval' status, and the drop-down options change to 'Reject' and 'Confirm'.
Please note: the deal line needs to be confirmed before it can go live.
Once you have confirmed the deal line, the status will:
- change to 'Approved', if the start date is in the future
- change to 'Live', if the start date is today
Setting a status generates a unique Campaign ID and Deal Line ID. The Campaign ID is visible under the Campaign Name.
Creating Multiple Deal Lines
If required, you can create up to 19 more deal lines once your first deal line has been created. This allows you to set up multiple targeting criteria for the same DSP within one campaign.
- To create a new deal line, select the '+ New deal line' button at the top of the page.
- To duplicate an existing deal line, select the duplicate icon in the Action Bar at the bottom of the page.
Give your deal line a new name, and apply the mandatory information and any targeting criteria.
Tip: if you are running a Guaranteed deal line, select 'Check Allocation' to see the proposed allocation for the new deal line. See Allocation Report for more information on reviewing your allocation.
When you are happy with the deal line setup and allocation, save your new deal line by selecting 'Save Deal Line' from the Action Bar.
Please note: when creating or editing a deal line, you must save the deal line before navigating to another part of VTM, or the deal line and any edits will not be saved.
