Filtering the Deal Health dashboard

Apply, save and reuse filters by campaign, creative, inventory and deal owner.

The 'Filter' section at the top of the Deal Health dashboard filters the data in every widget and chart across the dashboard.

  • Once you apply a filter, or a combination of filters, it stays in place as you move between tabs.
  • You can use filters to include or exclude information. Each filter window has 'Include' and 'Exclude' tabs.

Please note: in the filter labels, 'Deal ID' is the Campaign ID and 'Line ID' is the Deal Line ID.

Custom filters

These filters are designed for analysing Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) campaigns, VIOOH Select campaigns, or both.

Filter What it does
'Latest Allocation' Shows data since the latest allocation when you analyse PG campaigns. Use it if you have reallocated a deal line

'Deal Owner' Separates your own campaigns from VIOOH Select campaigns. See the next section
'Timezones' Changes the timezone the data is shown in. Use it if your market covers more than one timezone

Excluding VIOOH Select revenue

By default, you see aggregated revenue values, which include revenue generated by VIOOH Select.

  1. Open the 'Deal Owner' filter.
  2. Select the 'Exclude' tab.
  3. Select VIOOH_SELECT.
  4. Select 'Apply'.

Important: for accurate multi-market revenue information, use the Deal Health dashboard, not QuickSight.

Tip: the 'Deal Owner' filter is also available in the Proof of Play dashboard.

Filtering from a chart or table

You can filter the entire dashboard by a value shown in a chart or table, such as a Deal ID, an address or a Frame ID.

  1. Right-click the value, for example a Deal ID in the 'Revenue by DSP' pivot table.
  2. Select 'Filter'.

The table, and the rest of the dashboard, update to show data for that value only. A blue border appears around the table. The filter stays in place when you move to another tab.

Tip: this is the quickest way to troubleshoot a single Guaranteed campaign. See Troubleshooting an underpacing Guaranteed campaign.

Quick filters

Some charts, such as 'Revenue by Hour', show quick filters on the right-hand side of the chart.

  • Double-click a quick filter to show only that value.
  • Click a quick filter once to remove that value.

Saving a filter combination

Save a combination of filters as a view, so you can apply it again without reselecting each filter.

  1. Apply your filters.
  2. Select 'Save view', or open 'Select view' and select 'Save view'.
  3. Enter a name for the filter combination.
  4. Select 'Save'.

To rename or delete a saved view, select 'Manage views'.

Tip: to reset the dashboard, open the view drop-down menu and select 'Reset Liveboard'.
