The Campaign Management page
Read the campaign table, Campaign and Deal Line IDs, filters, out-of-charge frames and statuses.
Use the 'Campaign Management' section to create and manage campaigns.
On the 'Campaign Management' page, you will see a list of campaigns and their statuses. The table includes key information such as the Campaign ID and name, 'Campaign Type', date schedule, 'DSP Name', 'Fill Rate', 'CPM', 'Revenue' and Product Category.
At the top of the page, a key metrics bar gives you a snapshot of:
- Today's revenue
- Month-to-date (MTD) revenue
- Live deals
- Creatives pending approval
Each metric is clickable. Selecting a revenue widget takes you to the Deal Health Revenue tab. Selecting 'Live deals' filters the page to show live campaigns only. Selecting 'Creatives pending approval' takes you to Content Management with pending creatives already filtered.
Click the '+' button to expand a campaign and see all the Deal Lines within it. Click it again to collapse the campaign.
Please note: in markets with a large number of frames, a banner on this page sets out the frame limit that applies to each deal line. See Frames.
Campaign and Deal Line IDs
The 'ID' column displays a truncated version of the ID: the last 10 unique digits. For example, the ID VIOOH-VIOOH_EXTERNAL-XpRbdQIGEe displays as VIOOH...XpRbdQIGEe.
The click-to-copy button copies the ID in its entirety.
IDs are colour-coded to show which level a campaign trades at.
| Text colour | What it means |
|---|---|
| Blue | Trading is happening at this level. This is the ID to share with the DSP |
| Grey | Trading is not happening at this level |
Important: the blue ID is the one that must be shared with the DSP for trading to succeed. For multi-line campaigns, trading takes place at deal line level, so the Campaign ID appears in grey and the Deal Line ID in blue. For campaigns created before the introduction of multi-line CPM trading, trading takes place at campaign level, so the Campaign ID appears in blue and the Deal Line IDs in grey.
You can also click to copy the Deal Line ID, Deal Line name, Advertiser and Brand directly from the table.
Filtering and sorting
At the top of the page in the 'Filter' section, you can filter the list of campaigns by 'DSP', 'Campaign ID or name', 'Advertiser', 'Status' or 'Campaign Type'. DSP drop-downs throughout VTM are sorted alphabetically.
Click any column heading to sort the table by that column. An up or down arrow indicates whether the sort is ascending or descending.
Out-of-charge frames
The out-of-charge (OOC) frames filter icon sits to the right-hand side of the main filters. It carries a red badge counter showing the number of Programmatic Guaranteed deal lines that include OOC frames.
Click the counter to filter the table to the campaigns and Deal Lines containing impacted frames. Click a campaign or Deal Line to reallocate and rectify any pacing issues.
Statuses
The 'Status' column tells you what the campaign or deal line status is currently. Status definitions are as follows:
| Status | Definition |
|---|---|
| Pending Approval | Campaigns and deal lines awaiting approval |
| Approved | Campaigns and deal lines that are approved, but not yet live |
| Live | Campaigns and deal lines that are currently live |
| Rejected | Campaigns and deal lines that have been rejected |
| Ended | Campaigns and deal lines that have ended |
| Terminated | Campaigns and deal lines that were stopped or terminated whilst live |
| Cancelled | Campaigns and deal lines that have been cancelled before they go live |
